The dark colours really help to create suspense and from this and the image you can tell immediately that it is for a horror film. The layout of the page looks like it could be a real magazine.
The front cover of the magazine is very formal and the font and the colour scheme work very well together. The image on the front gives the magazine a mysterious vibe as does the lack of text on the front, this seems to draw the reader in to find out what is inside. Overall a beautiful front cover.
